About

A young man stands on a city sidewalk with hands in pockets, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and white sneakers, in front of a souvenir shop with signs for shirts and Uggs.

Joe Dejima is an independent composer and producer based in Sydney, Australia. He specializes in composing music for film, television, advertising, animation, and video games, while also releasing singles and exploring new genres and styles over time.

He is able to work on any commission or project and deliver professional, high-quality music that is both unique and produced to the highest standard.

He takes every project seriously, working closely with clients to understand their vision. Through meetings and multiple demos, he ensures that the music aligns perfectly with the project and delivers exactly what is needed.

He has worked on a range of film projects, including Death Drive (2025) directed by Fu Liu, and Home (2024) directed by Tian Yang, which was selected as a finalist at the Screen It International Film Festival 2025. In addition, he has composed for numerous animation and commercial projects (featured in the demos above), as well as a variety of personal works.

He is always excited and eager to collaborate on new projects. If you are interested or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch here.
